I've been doing a lot of stuff considering last time I posted. Let's start off with yesterday. Scary day yesterday. My family decided to go to Chumash Casino. I was all for it. I was driver. Little rain won't scare me....

It was when we got to this one part on 101 northbound where things got trecherous. I knew that we were going to hit rain somewhere along the way and I've drivin' in rain before no problem. But, this time it caught me off guard. One point, the road began having some good amount of still water yet no rain drops. A second later, a massive, big old fat rain, downpour roared on the car. I was kind of panicing in the car because I hit the windshield wipers to maximum and the cars ahead kicked up a lot of water into my windshield, so looking out was a blur. Furthermore, the streets was forming a stream where I couldn't see the center dividers anymore. And I was in the middle lane of three. I thought there would be an accident waiting to happen or we'd be caught in a flash flood pretty soon. Luckily, it was an isolated storm and going further up the freeway we were able to hit no rain. But, turns out the 101 headed towards Gaviotta was completely closed. In order to bypass, we needed to take the 154, which we originally planned out as the main path to Chumash. There were signs all along the freeway indicating drivers needed to take the 154. End result, massive backup...

My parents decide to head on back home and watch a movie at Edwards Cinemas. In my head, going back meant that trechrous storm we need to pass through again. Again, same indications were apparent: really wet roads but no rain drops = surprise downpour. I got surprised again. Went under the bridge, and coming out, massive downpour. But, it wasn't too bad, I still saw the center dividers. So just needed to take it easy. And, the best thing of all, there was traffic. Thank God people were slowing down because last time when we hit that kind of a downpour, people were passing me left and right and I was wondering how they could not be afraid of this! What slowed people down was a mudslide on the opposite side of the freeway where only one car could pass the area at a time. The people on my side slowed down just to see the mudslide before we speeded up again. But, we were fortunate that we were able to get through that section of the freeway before the mudslide happened.

Came and went out to eat at Olive Garden. Never tried that place before. But, it's a good place to get some wine and spirits amongst all things it seemed. Ordered a mixed grill, good stuff. Afterwards, we went to Edward's Cinemas and saw A Series of Unfortunate Events. I thought it was good, but the dialogues seemed to go by really fast that I felt like I'm the only one laughing in the theatre when the rest of the others missed that crucial word to get the joke. There's a lot of movies I want to see right now as potential weekend outings when were back up in Poly in a week.

If you haven't known already, I work at Robinson's-May for sometime now. So advertisement: 50-75% clearance storewide! I work at the jewelry department and you can get some expensive stuff for half off. Maybe in a later entry I will tell about stuff going on at Robinson's-May. But, I don't feel like it right now. Need to sleep and plan tomorrow. Hopefully, since Cisco's back, we can finally have the upper classmen vs. the lower classmen at pool that we've been planning for quite sometime. I haven't hung out with anyone for such a long time. I've just been really busy during break. Today is my last break day before I go back to work on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Even today, I don't know if things will turn out like I want it to. But, if it don't, I guess the world always has bigger plans on me...

I'm pretty confused on what I want to do with this entry. Because today, while my dad and I were gone to Simi Valley, we came back and noticed that a whole section of street was blocked off by caution tape stuff. There wasn't a big crowd but we asked around and found out somebody got shot on that section. Police were going some investigation lasting until pretty much 5 hours since we came home at 4. Pretty scary, other gangster people were asking us what happened there as well.

Anyway, I've been in a chore doing mood lately. I see my mom and my truck all covered in mud and I just decided I wash both of them by myself. Spent a good two hours doing both cars yesterday. Afterwards, I went over to Cindy's to get my GameCube and found out that they grabbed the wrong video and audio cables. I got ones for the PS2 so it leaves the question of who has mine. I wouldn't suspect Jason would do such a thing of misplacing the cable with his PS2 because the proper cables would have already been attached to the systems. But, I don't know, all I know is that I can't play games without any sound and black and white 3D. I guess it's time to bust out with the old NES classics.

Today, we got a tree. Eeee! So, it's tradition that my sister and I decorate it, but my sister has finals all this week, so I'm not sure if she has time for it. I guess I got to do it by myself tomorrow. Also, I need to ask my sister for her car for Tuesday to commence mission.

That's been it, I've been enjoying this break, and my cough has decreased as well, although it acts up in the night. Oh well, not contagious because nobody around me has gotten sick.

With this free time, I'm getting creative. So, time to extract them now. Also, I finished the entire Full Metal Alchemist series as well. Man, it's a good series from start to finish. Can't wait for the movie next year.

That's it for now, later on...

Finals week is now. Don't really want to talk about it, I just want to sleep right now. Cisco and I had some crazy Super Smash Bros. Melee contests. On the edge of the seat status. Anyway, two days ago I got a cough. Yesterday I lost my voice and today I got some of it back, but not completely. I need to study alone, I'm more productive that way. Got to go to sleep, my head hurts from coughing every now and then. It feels like I got water caught in my throat for some reason. Disc 5 complete for Season 4 Smallville. That's it for now...
